Carving spoons from found wood is part of an ongoing investigation of how people connect with place. The association of spoons with daily rituals provides a familiar medium for the organic qualities of the wood to be revealed through tactility. These objects vary in functionality and form, but always connect people back to nature through a simple handshake.
